How do I delete my account?

Open the app → Settings → scroll to the bottom → Delete Account. All your data is permanently removed within 30 days. If you signed in with Apple, your authorization is also revoked from your Apple ID. For GDPR requests, email support@bryksbuilt.com.

How do I export my data?

Open the app → Settings → Account → Request My Data. This opens your email app already filled in with a request; we'll send you a copy of your workout history, nutrition logs, body stats, and profile data within 30 days.

I forgot my password.

On the login screen, tap 'Forgot password'. You'll get a reset email at the address you signed up with. The reset link works for 1 hour.

I can't sign in with Apple / Google.

Make sure you're using the same Apple ID or Google account you signed up with. If you originally signed up with email + password, you can't switch to social sign in for the same account, but you can create a new account with social sign in and ask support@bryksbuilt.com to migrate your data.

What can the AI Coach do?

The AI Coach chats in real time, type or talk to it, and can build individual workouts, full 12 week programs, recipes, and meal plans, log meals from a plain description, and hand you a personalized daily plan. Chatting and basic help are free; the full coach, unlimited AI programs, and unlimited meal plans are part of Pro.

Why is my AI Coach response slow?

First responses after a quiet period can take 5 to 10 seconds because the AI servers spin down when idle. After the first call, subsequent responses are typically under 3 seconds. If responses are consistently slow, email us with your iOS version and device model.

How accurate is the AI meal scanner?

It's a starting point, not a replacement for weighing food, great for a fast estimate, and you can fine tune by logging weighed portions when you want precision. For tracked diets (cutting / bulking with tight macros), we recommend logging weighed portions where possible.

Can I use BryksBuilt without an Apple Watch?

Yes. Apple Watch / HealthKit integration is optional. All core features (workouts, nutrition, AI Coach, trainer messaging) work without it.

How do I sign up as a trainer?

When you sign up, choose Personal Trainer (not Gym Goer) as your role. You'll go through the trainer onboarding flow and land in the Roster marketplace.

How does the trainer marketplace work?

Trainers create a public profile and packages. Gym goers browse the Roster and book intro calls or packages. Trainers get a portal at bryksbuilt.com/trainer to manage clients, programs, check ins, meal plans, messaging, scheduling, and business metrics.

What is Bryksy?

Bryksy is your AI assistant inside the web portal. It reviews your roster to surface client trends, with the evidence behind each insight, and drafts programs, meal plans, and check in forms that you approve in one click. It can also answer questions about your business. Bryksy never messages your clients on its own and never saves anything without your approval, and it's included with every paid trainer plan.

Do you take a cut of what I charge my clients?

You can collect client payments through your own Stripe account, connected inside the portal. Charges go directly to your Stripe and payouts land in your bank on your Stripe schedule, so we never hold your money. BryksBuilt takes a flat 2 percent platform fee on payments collected that way. You can also handle payments entirely outside the app if you prefer, at no cost. Your BryksBuilt plan subscription is separate from that fee.

Is my data shared with third party AI?

Yes, when you use AI features (Coach chat, meal scanning, pantry voice, workout generation), the relevant inputs are sent to Anthropic, Google (Gemini), or OpenAI. None of these providers train on your data per their commercial terms. You're prompted to consent the first time you use any AI feature. See our Privacy Policy for the full list.

Is my Apple Health data stored on your servers?

Yes. Steps, calories, heart rate, sleep, and workouts read from HealthKit are stored on our secure Firebase servers so you can access your history across devices and so your trainer can review your activity. We never sell HealthKit data.

How do I disable AI features?

AI features can be skipped, just don't use them. There's no global toggle yet (planned), but the Coach tab, meal scanner, pantry walk, AI workout generator, and recipe AI are all opt in per use.

Is BryksBuilt free?

BryksBuilt is free to download and start. You can log workouts, track nutrition, join the community, and try the AI coach right away. A Pro subscription unlocks the full AI coach plus unlimited AI generated programs and meal plans, and its price is shown in the App Store and varies by region. Trainer plans start at $22.99 USD a month with the first 5 clients free forever, and every paid tier includes Bryksy and full Pro access for your own training. How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

It depends where you subscribed. Anything bought inside the app, including Pro, is billed through your Apple ID: open the App Store, tap your profile photo, then Subscriptions, then BryksBuilt. We can't cancel or refund Apple subscriptions on your behalf, since those go through Apple. Trainer plans bought on the web are billed by Stripe and managed from Settings, then Billing in the trainer portal. Either way, cancelling takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Will I be charged unexpectedly?

No. Downloading and starting BryksBuilt is free, and you're only charged if you choose to subscribe to Pro or a trainer plan. The price and terms are always shown before you confirm, whether that is Apple at the App Store checkout or Stripe on the web. Trainer plans started on the web include a 7 day free trial.
